With the art and the screen in place, Gocco flashbulbs are inserted into the holder and then placed on top of the screen area. When the frame is closed, the flashbulbs are triggered and the screen is "exposed", creating a tiny screenprinting screen, somehow using the carbon that is in the toner of the original laserprinted image.
