Hot damn! Hot dog!

Ethan and I went to Doogie's today and ate hot dogs. They were pretty awesome.

On our way to Doogie's, we went to the Olympia Diner (as seen here) for breakfast. Hash and cheese omelette for me...



...fried egg sammich with sausage for Ethan. Also a side of hash.



From there we went to Bob's Farm Market and got beverages.



Then, the new Stew Leonard's that just opened.



There we saw this sign, which was strangely sunbaked, yet even more strangely still decipherable.



From there, we ended up at a thrift store in Meriden, full of organs, facials, dirty hippies, and the RCMP.









There were a few other little stops thrown in, the used videos, the pawn shop that was actually closed due to owner death ("Everything's in probate!"), but we made it to Doogie's and enjoyed some fine hot dogs and tasty beverages.

Birthday weekend extravaganza

The flashlight tht I got from my brother. It has one switch that turns it on, and another button that changes the light from white to green to blue to orange to light green to purple to yellow to light blue to pink. The best part, though, are the instructions. And I quote...

"White light is the highest brightness. It can be applied to any illumination situations.

Red light is the most obvious and noticeable. It can be used as an warning color or signal.

Green light is the healthiest. It is good for eyesight and can be used to check map.

Blue light is the coolest and bright in the night. It can be used to relax the fidgety mood.

Light blue light is the tranquilest for composing the emotion. Also can be used in camping.

Pink light is romantic. It can be used to increase the temperament and interest of life."
